My work has been included (under the name Rosie Dunnett) in the first publication by LGBTQI+ artist collective Queerdirect.
The book is available at the South London Gallery bookshop, Arcadia Misa and elsewhere.
I worked with animator Lily Ash Sakula to create the concept and story for their short film EYES, shown at the Central Saint Martins Grad Show from 19th-23rd of June. EYES was also selected for Trans Pride Film Night 2019 in Brighton, Scotts Queer Film Festival, Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest and others! Really proud of this one.
New Bad Faith issue of Plasma Dolphin, featuring a short piece of mine, Fast, is out now.
My new story, Kept, is up now, featured in the Credit Issue of The Hypocrite Reader.
Short extract below, read the full story here.
Once or twice in moments of what seemed, at the time, to be great financial need, she had contemplated selling her used underwear on the internet, or selling her voice, selling things callers would induce her to say over the telephone. She never did. When she met her husband, he was not a man of particular means. In fact, quite early in their relationship, she paid him cash-in-hand to help her move some furniture out of her parents’ house.
While at Can Serrat I participated in a couple of readings: I’m pictured below reading from my new story Blood Moon at our writer’s open mic night.
We also took part in an ongoing project, VEU, between residents at Can Serrat and the nearby town of El Bruc, comprising of a selection of readings in English and Catalan.
